I have been a photographer working in and around the Chicago area for over 30 years. I am semi-retired and I now spend the time I get to photograph capturing subjects that move me emotionally. I do some wildlife photography, I shoot some videos of amateur musicians that I believe have a high level of talent, and I really enjoy environmental portraiture which is pictures of people and places that comment on the subject, the surroundings or the mood...

Met 2 nice guys tonight because of their license plates. The first one parked next to me and had a purple heart plate on his car. I asked him where he got his purple heart. "Okinawa", he said, "1945. I guess the enemy didn't like me.

The second one I pulled up next to at a light and I commented that I had always wanted to know how the word on his plate was spelled, and he laughed. His plate said "FBLUNG8"
