After the success of my Clinchfield 800 video, figured I'd release all my old Rambler footage out there too! Featuring clips from 2019 through 2021. Now live on Youtube! Video Link: https://youtu.be/xLKMTcdl2rE?si=tnJTuPOVqKAiqFuy

On September 14th and 15th this year, I had the honor of witnessing the next to last games ever held at the Smokies Stadium at interstate exit 407 in Kodak between Tennessee Smokies and Birmingham Barons. Since 2000 the team had been based out of Kodak, with previous years taking place in Knoxville. After twenty five years of smokies in Kodak, the team is being moved back to Knoxville with a name change from "Tennessee Smokies" to "Knoxville Smokies". In the process of editing my shots for this post, I gravitated more than usual to black and white color scheme, which seemed to fit the mood of those who were present witnessing games in this stadium for the last time. I had been going here since I was old enough to remember, and in the past two years fell in love with the sport, many weeks I went alone and made countless friends and memories. While the fate of the stadium is as of typing this uncertain, we can only hope it is preserved for future generations.. 24 photos for 24 years of memories.

On my visit to Pennsylvania, we made a pittstop on the way home to Philadelphia to see some ships! We got a rare glimpse at the famous SS United States Conservancy's ship! As well the warships! Though it was my first time seeing an Oceanliner, sadly, it may be my last...

Hey all! Many who got my business cards may have wondered "how come I can find Appalachian Railfan on Facebook and Instagram and not Timber Rice Photography?" well.... I deleted it. As well as most of my old photos on Instagram, only keeping most of my old Appalachian Railfan work.

Not only had Facebook given me strange notifications I could never get rid of (which sadly my train page still has) but I wasn't happy with a lot of my old work and wanted to start over. But now I am back! I may re-post some of my old photo work but it will largely be original MOSTLY non-train related content. But if you prefer trains, PLEASE go check out my Appalachian Railfan page!
Also depending on how this page does, may give my photography its own Insta page as well, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

And lastly, both my train and non-train related work will be for sale in physical print at events still! You can also currently buy some of my work at the Rose Center artists gallery in Morristown, Tennessee.
