🤎 A Little Change for Sweet Honey Photography 🤎
I have dreaded making this post for quite some time, but it has been weighing heavily on my heart, and I feel that it is finally time to address this—not only for myself, but for Sweet Honey Photography and all of my wonderful clients.
I started Sweet Honey Photography in May of 2022, never imagining that a little dream of mine would grow into what it is today. Over the past four years, I have had the incredible privilege of being a part of so many special memories—newborns, milestones, couples, families, engagements, weddings, and so much more. I have truly loved and cherished every moment of it. 📸🤎
However, many of you know that photography is something I do alongside working a full-time Monday–Friday job and raising my two little ones, who are one and four years old. As a mama, I have realized how important it is for me to slow down and be more present in their everyday lives. I want to be there for the little moments, the weekends, the memories, and all of the things I know I will never get back.
With that being said, after January 1st, I will be taking a significant step back from sessions and new bookings. I am not sure exactly how long this season will last, but I know that right now, this is what my heart and my family need. I will be taking this time until I feel ready to return.
During this time, my assistant, Katie, will be taking over any sessions booked after January 1st. Over the past couple of months, Katie and I have also been working closely with Danelle as we train her to become a part of the Sweet Honey Photography team.
Danelle has been absolutely wonderful throughout the learning process. She is eager to learn, takes direction so well, and has already shown us what a great addition she will be to our team. I am so excited to have her joining us and growing alongside Katie and me.
While I take this step back, Danelle will also be available to assist Katie with sessions and help wherever needed. This will allow us to continue providing our clients with the same level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail that you have come to expect from Sweet Honey Photography.
I have complete confidence in both Katie and Danelle, and I know that you will be in wonderful hands with them. And, of course, if Katie or Danelle need assistance with any weddings, I will absolutely be there to support them.
For anyone who already has a wedding, pre-sale, gift certificate, or other booking with me after January 1st, please know that this does not affect you. I will still be there for you and will be behind the lens, capturing your memories and being your biggest hype girl every step of the way. 🤎📸
Making this decision has not been easy. Sweet Honey Photography has been such a meaningful part of my life, and stepping back from something I have poured so much love, time, and energy into is incredibly bittersweet. But I also know that sometimes we have to make room for the seasons of life that need us the most.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you to every person who has trusted me with their memories, booked with me, returned time and time again, recommended me to your friends and family, supported my business, shared my work, and cheered me on along the way. And to those of you who have been here since the very beginning—thank you for believing in me and Sweet Honey Photography from day one.
I will forever be grateful that you allowed me to be a small part of some of the biggest and most beautiful moments of your lives. It has truly been an honor.
I love and appreciate every single one of you more than you know. 😭🥹🤎
Here’s to the next chapter, whatever that may look like. Until then, this isn’t goodbye…
It’s simply, see you later. 🤎
With love,
Staci
