To get this end result, I wanted to share the visual journey. 1st it’s the photo straight from the camera. 2nd it’s brightened up and enhanced by color in photoshop. 3rd there was a puppy head-swap and foot swap. 4rd I added paintbrush strokes to her dress to make the colors pop and look more playful.

What should I wear?

For this Senior, I suggested keeping it classic with a neutral-colored shirt and jeans. My style is bright and I believe medium to lighter colors work best. White went well with his skin tone. Choose a neutral that you gravitate towards, chances are it looks great on you!

What are neutral colors? Whites, Creams, Tans, Greys or Navy

I often work with a small family dog breeder that specializes in raising Cavalier & Cavapoo Puppies. She lives here in the Phoenix area. I love it when she brings puppies for me to play with, I mean photograph!

I hope you are enjoying time with your family this summer! I wanted to let you know that I offer Extended Family Sessions. It’s fun to see everyone’s variation of Ages and Stages. This family is a wonderful example of dressing your family in blues and light neutrals to bring everyone together in one cohesive look. It especially looks well with a green park setting.

I can feel the end of the school year here! I am so thankful for all the Seniors I had to photograph this year. I photographed more boys than girls, and that’s a first! Here is a favorite from the Anthem Community Park at the waterfall

Mother’s Day is fast approaching…if you’re looking for an extra special way to celebrate this year, I would love to be your photographer.

I have a new location I absolutely love! It’s in Cave Creek and about 20 minutes from Anthem, Az.

I just photographed this mama and her darling girl Monday and look at all of the wonderful portraits we made in about 10 minutes.

I have a morning slot open for 9 am! I’m trying to capture the same vibe as before, while the plant life and light is the same. I love creating bright and uplifting photos!
