Party people! June 11, up close and personal, Richie Furay the legendary musician from Buffalo Springfield, POCO, Souther -Hillman - Furay will be giving you a treat at Alphawave Studios, Whippany NJ. He will be answering your questions, giving you a show for 80 people and be one on one with the crowd in the intimate setting of the studio! Nancy and David Fine Jewels on June 12 will be hosting Richie and and his 8 pc band (only night with the whole band) at South Orange Performing Arts Center (what I call my home base!) in another small, elegant venue and only about a dozen tickets are left! “In The Country” is the forthcoming studio release by Richie Furay featuring a collection of 14 classic country songs. Attend this very special concert event and be among the first fans to hear some of these songs performed prior to the official release date of 6/18/22. There will be a full backing band and Richie will also be performing songs from his catalog of classic Poco, Buffalo Springfield, and Souther-Hillman-Furay. Everything David Stone does is with class and style! I will be working again both days and I am telling you, if you want a weekend to remember, coming right up in a few weeks. I covered the Canadian Legend himself, Paul Anka live at Mayo Performing Arts Center - MPAC . Most people don't realize he wrote "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" for Buddy Holly. Yes, he did. He also wrote "This Is It" for Michael Jackson. He wrote "She's a Lady" for Tom Jones. He wrote "Teddy" for Connie Francis. He also wrote the theme for the "Tonight Show" and hundreds of other hits. Iconic and legendary, this Canadian knocked me out of this world with a flawless show tonight. Anyone looking for an EPK done? Calling all bands and performers. If you need a video done, an EPK done, a livestream done or an album cover shot or are looking for a good room to hold a show in, Alphawave Studios is where I do a lot of my work for music. The room can hold 75 people easily with high top tables and seats, you can rent the room as a seated venue also or a standing room and even use it as a dance floor also. They have full video recording, audio recording, mixing, production and also editing. I have done over a dozen livestreams and Electronic Press Kits and CD covers and live performances there. They are a lovely facility with a great staff here in Whippany NJ. The new facility is 5000 sq feet with a state of the art sound system and also a full lighting truss with leds.
