Motherhood taught me that productivity doesn’t always look like checking things off a to-do list. 🤍

Before Mason, I was always in “go mode” — constantly feeling like I needed to be doing something the second my feet hit the floor each morning. Then postpartum came, and suddenly my days looked completely different. Some days I never changed out of pjs. I spent hours breastfeeding, rocking, holding, and being “nap trapped” on the couch with my baby in my arms.
And honestly? I used to feel guilty for it. Like I should be cleaning, organizing, or getting more done. But I’ve learned something so important:

This is productive.
Comforting your baby is productive.
Bonding with your child is productive.
Resting and healing is productive.
Slowing down enough to soak in these moments is productive.

The dishes can wait. The laundry can wait.
These little moments won’t. 🤍

Some clients turn into family 🤍
From engagement photos, to wedding day, to their first pregnancy and newborn photos of their sweet baby girl… and now, maternity photos for baby number two — a BOY! 💙

Getting to document every chapter of their story is such an honor, and moments like this truly never get old.

When Hannah said:
“Omg! I am obsessed! These photos are seriously so beautiful! Like as someone who doesn’t feel glamorous the majority of their pregnancy, you make me feel like a freaking model.”

First, I immediately replied: “Uh hello… you are a model! I’m just glad I can help you see what the rest of us already do.”

But second — THIS. This is everything.
Every mama deserves to feel powerful, beautiful, and celebrated — especially during pregnancy.

So grateful for families who trust me with their milestones, year after year 🤍

Full-circle moments like this are why I do what I do.

From sharing classes in high school with Chase to years later getting the chance to photograph Chase & Olivia’s baby announcement photos to then celebrating with them welcoming their baby girl earth side — what an honor. 🤍

Wishing Michelle & Alex a happily ever after. 🤍
Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end — from their heartfelt church ceremony to the private vows they shared afterward. The entire day was filled with joy, surrounded by loving family and friends.

Mr. & Mrs. Demyons

Hannah & Cole’s day was filled with beauty — but it was the meaningful details that made it unforgettable. 🤍 The Ellis House was the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt outdoor ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour where guests were trulypresent — laughing, connecting, and soaking in every moment.

Their reception in the stunning glass house felt like something out of a dream… especially when Hannah’s dad surprised her with an incredible ice sculpture! One of my favorite personal touches? Each reception table had a photo of Hannah and Cole as kids and throughout the years — such a fun and sentimental way to share their stories with guests.

It’s always an honor to document wedding days, but what made this one extra special was capturing the past and present in one frame — like Hannah incorporating her grandmother’s 1812 Bible into the details. Moments like that remind me that these photos aren’t just for today, but for generations to come.
P.s. Swipe to the end to see the photo that got the most votes! 🤍🖤

Who stands beside you when you say “I do” matters.
Choosing your wedding party isn’t just about matching dresses or coordinated suits—it’s about surrounding yourself with the people who have walked through life with you, cheered you on, and held your heart on the hard days. 💛
From laughter in the bridal suite to happy tears before the aisle, these are the moments—and people—you’ll never forget.
Who would you choose to stand by your side?

My first newborn twin session — and what an honor it was to photograph these two beautiful girls, especially because they belong to one of my best friends.

Watching Kayla and Bryan step into parenthood together has been nothing short of inspiring. They’ve faced every challenge as a team, with grace and so much love. When Kayla first told me she was pregnant, she just knew it was twins. Her intuition was spot on! I’ll never forget the call after their ultrasound appointment — “It’s twins!” — and me screaming with joy on the other end of the phone.

Kayla’s journey wasn’t easy, but her strength, her joy, and her deep love for these babies was evident in every moment of her pregnancy, and even more so now. She’s already the most incredible mama, and I feel so lucky to have her not only as a friend, but also as someone I can look to for advice as I step into this new chapter myself.

Michael and I feel so grateful to be surrounded by friends in this same season of life. We’ve loved soaking up all the baby snuggles and watching our circle grow — and soon, Baby Icenhower will be joining the crew!

Lexie & Anthony | Part 2

Swooning over Lexie & Anthony’s winter wonderland wedding! If you missed part 1, head back and take a look, but now let’s dive into the reception — where the real party started!

This celebration will definitely go down as one of my favorites! It was a party from start to finish! Lexie’s attention to every single detail was impeccable. I mean, how sweet is it that she wore her mom’s wedding dress for her reception look, with special alterations so it could be worn by both her and her sister on their wedding days? Such a beautiful, sentimental touch.

The framed photos of their parents and grandparents around the cake absolutely heartwarming and meaningful.
The champagne wall/seating chart and custom ice luge were huge hits with the guests, and when the party really got started, everyone knew it was going to be an unforgettable night. Laughter, heartfelt speeches, and emotional parent dances had everyone on their toes.

Honestly, what a way to kick off wedding season!

Cheers to the Mr. & Mrs.🥂
