Main Street Studios is pleased to welcome back award-winning photographer Heather Kessler. In 2008, Heather left MSS to establish her own successful photography business. In capturing quality images, Heather shares the level of excellence customers expect from MSS. Her portrait artistry earned her a top 3 spot in PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER magazine's cover contest in 2009. Her landscape photography

has also been featured in WONDERFUL WEST VIRGINIA magazine. In addition to our photography, MSS offers custom framing by Master Framer Lanora Wentz. Lanora managed her own local framing business before joining MSS. With more than 20 years experience, Lanora is known area-wide for her framing expertise. Supporting both areas of the studio is Customer Services Manager Betsy Leigh. Betsy schedules appointments, processes orders and much more. MSS, while specializing in children and high school senior photography, also offers family, pet, pageant and commercial portraits as well as wedding photography. Our sports, dance, baton and youth teams fundraising program typically doubles the amount of money leagues are used to making from other photographers. Contact the studio for more information.

PSA Re: Google storage FULL/ potential loss of all photos stored on your phone!

I started using Google Photos because I thought it would be a way to have a duplicate copy of my pictures while also making it so that I can share photos easily with others. Turned out to be a big PITA, because I’ve maxed out the allotted storage and google was alerting me that my email wouldn’t work anymore. I’ve had the same email address for a decade or more and I was very annoyed.

So I just figured the best way to solve that problem is to delete my photos from Google Photos and not use that anymore!

NOT GOOD.

I proceeded to delete about two months worth of data, approximately 2000 photos. To my horror, the photos were also deleted from my phone!! and iCloud library!!! Gone forever, because I emptied the google photos trash 😱😱😱

Thank God I was seemingly able to recover my photos from my phone’s recently deleted folder… I guess google photos doesn’t purge that folder as well.

BEFORE DELETING PHOTO ON GOOGLE PHOTOS, TURN OFF THE PHOTOS APP’s BACKUP FEATURE.

Hope this helps someone from having a severe panic attack like I did this morning 😅
