Mark A. Shephard I’m a Morgantown, W.Va., photographer and veteran photojournalist who appreciates the beauty of life’s decisive moments.

I aim to preserve memories from these moments and create powerful images in West Virginia and beyond. I’ve been a home-based Morgantown photographer in North Central W.Va., since my wife, Jennifer, and I moved here in 2015. A professional photographer since my days as a U.S. Navy Photographer’s Mate, over the course of my career, I’ve been a newspaper photojournalist and magazine freelancer; photo

graphed many marketing and other jobs for colleges and universities; undertaken product photography and commercial jobs; documented more than 100 weddings and family events; and photographed family and senior portrait sessions.
