This senior session was the perfect mix of whimsical + urban.

We went from dreamy woods, wildflowers and stepping into the creek to a little downtown edge, and somehow it all fit her perfectly.

I love when a senior session has variety but still feels completely cohesive. Liv absolutely nailed every part of this one, and I had so much fun creating these with her.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the teams at Ellie Mental Health’s Morgantown and Bridgeport locations, and I loved getting a closer look at the people and spaces behind the care they provide.

One of my favorite parts was learning more about the different specialties and services each therapist brings to their clients. Mental health care is never one size fits all, and it was wonderful to see a team with so many different areas of expertise.

I had so much fun capturing the team behind In Tune Counseling and all the personality that makes their space feel like them. 🤎

From updated team photos and individual portraits to some of the little details that tell their story, this session was all about showing that mental health care can feel warm, approachable, and genuinely human.

In Tune Counseling is a mental health practice in Morgantown, WV, providing a warm and welcoming space for children, teens, mothers, adults, and families. They have a special heart for supporting kids and teens as they grow, while also caring for mothers through pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, identity changes, relationships, and all the transitions that can come with motherhood.

In Tune was created to feel a little different from what people might picture when they think of therapy. Their team is down-to-earth, they love to laugh, and they want clients to feel comfortable being exactly who they are. There’s a lot of personality within their walls, but also a whole lot of care for the people and families who trust them to be part of their lives.

It’s World Photography Day 📸

It’s kind of amazing to think about how much of our lives has been preserved through photographs. Milestones, ordinary moments, people we love, places we’ve been… so many memories we might otherwise forget.

My first real camera was a pink Polaroid Cool Cam, circa 1989, and I think that’s where the fascination really began.

From learning about the earliest forms of photography to figuring out every setting on my Sony Alpha, I’ve always loved the art behind creating an image. And now I get to turn that love into telling stories through my own lens.

Whether I’m helping a business bring its brand to life, capturing the confidence and excitement of a high school senior, or documenting a moment someone will want to remember years from now, I still genuinely love what I get to do.

So in honor of World Photography Day, I want to know…

What’s one photograph you’ll always treasure? The one that instantly makes you smile, takes you back to a certain moment, or brings back a favorite memory.
