I’ve finally made the decision to jump on the IG reels train. It’s crazy how quickly things change in the world of social media and sometimes it kinda makes my head spin, but the best piece of advice I’ve found as a small biz owner is to embrace the fact that *done* is better than *perfect*. You’ll never learn something new until you stop worrying about getting it all right the first time and actually DO it. Video is definitely not my natural state (shout out to all the amazing videographers out there), but I’m ready to jump in with a plan and see what happens...stay tuned. 😬😁

We’re taking it sloooow around here like it’s a Saturday. We stuck close to home and got a few things done around the house. It was a welcome change of pace since I feel like we’ve averaged maybe 3 days a week at home over the last couple of months. 😬 I’m already loving this long weekend and looking forward to spending the rest of it close to home with family and friends!

Walking out to my car to find the windshield smashed by a tree limb was NOT the way I wanted to start my Friday...🤦🏼‍♀️ Thankfully I have an appointment Monday morning to replace it. Will Not be parking my car under the trees again. 😬
On the bright side, I’ve been charging batteries and prepping equipment in my office today, and that means one thing: tomorrow is wedding day! So excited for and and their big day...see y’all soon! ❤️

I’m sharing a few things that are making me happy lately over in my stories. The last 6-8 months have been some of the craziest ever, but as I scrolled back through my camera roll, I started focusing on all of the little things that make this life of mine so sweet. For those of you that asked, I AM still shooting. More than ever, actually.
