Weā€™re in the first few days of Fall but Iā€™m still stuck on all the summer sessions I was able to photograph! I realized there are SO many I never got around to sharing so, Iā€™m taking it all the way back to April and catching you up on what Iā€™ve been up to behind the camera. šŸ“ø

In April, we welcomed our second child, a sweet baby boy. Then May came, and photography went into full swing. What followed was my busiest summer yet, filled with so many moments I was trusted to capture.

When I look back at the last few months, Iā€™m honestly just so grateful. Grateful for every person who booked with me, trusted me with their memories, shared my work, recommended me to someone, or simply supported this little business of mine. The Lord has blessed me with opportunities I never could have imagined when I first picked up my camera, and I donā€™t take any of it for granted.

I photograph couples, families, mommas to be, newborns, seniors, weddings, and more! I love capturing the real smiles, little details, and in-between moments youā€™ll want to remember years from now.

I think sometimes God puts little reminders right in front of us to say, ā€œslow down. Youā€™re missing the beauty happening right in front of youā€ šŸ¦‹

During a session this morning, for just a moment, I stopped thinking about the next photo or the next thing on my to-do list, and I just watched these beautiful butterflies. Life is busy. There will always be something else to do. But I never want to be so busy capturing moments that I forget to actually be present in them. šŸ¤

So today, Iā€™m reminding myself to be present, slow down, look around, and notice the little things. šŸ¦‹
