“Memories of Home” is a body of salt prints created from the film photographs that I took during spring break when I was in San Diego. The purpose of this body of work is to connect old memories with new ones. Being originally from San Diego, the trip was very liberating for me to be back. I used old alternative and analog processes mixed with new imagery to get that connection with old/new in a more literal sense. The goal of this work is to also give the viewer a sense of feeling at home, like it does me. Hope you enjoy.
