Yesterday I took a little time for myself. Got ready, which most of this pregnancy I’ve lived in sweatpants..🫣 but met up with .co to play around with our cameras.

I brought my Sony & she brought her Fuji.

P.s. never throught I’d say this, but ready for this bump to be bumping, oh and learning to accept the new scars on my body after surgery..hasn’t been easy but here we are. 🙏

Dogs come into our lives in the most unexpected ways…
and somehow become everything.

Sophie is Chelsea’s heart dog — and this session meant more than just photos. She’s currently battling degenerative myopathy (similar to ALS in humans), and her time is something they’re holding onto tightly.

But this night?
It wasn’t heavy.

It was sandy paws, soft waves, and a whole lot of love.
Sophie still had that little spark in her… and you could feel how deeply she loves her people.

Sessions like these remind me why I do this.
To freeze time — even just for a moment.

Love your dogs. Hold them close. Their time with us is never long enough.

Chelsea, Ryne, Sophie & Oakley — thank you for trusting me with this.
