I have not been behind my camera for the past 3 years. Some life changing events took place and I just didn't have the heart to get back into the game.

A couple of weeks ago, a good friend encouraged me to take some headshots of his son-in-law. I'm very grateful that he did. During my absence from the business, I moved and rebuilt my studio in my new home. I studied and followed the styles of some master portrait photographers, (Sue Bryce and Felix Kunze,) and upgraded my equipment. I'm very happy with my initial results.

Jake Withey is a versatile new actor as you can see by his different looks. He is currently in the new Allstate Insurance commercial. My friend Tom Gatto, the one that got me going again is also an actor and in the same commercial. He is the barber and Jake is the guy in the chair.

This is a promotional piece I did, for Classic Light Imagery and Photography by Rossi. I chose to use a portrait of a good friend and client of mine Tommy Gatto www.facebook.com/tommy.gatto.92?fref=ts as the subject. Tommy is a retired New Jersey Police officer, now living in L.A. doing his acting thing. In fact, you can check out Tommy in the award winning HBO show, Newsroom on November 9th.

Way to go Tommy!
