2023 has been lived to the Fullest, and yes, it's only halfway through.
Nearing the end of last year we decided to book some activities to get us through the colder months, little weekends to look forward to. In typical me fashion, a few things turned into *lots* of things. This year has been jam packed with weekend trips to visit family, friend trips, couple trips, Disney on Ice, Unicorns, a National Park, a waterpark, camp outs (and ins), children's museums, a birthday bash, playgrounds...and getting ready for baby #3. It has been a wonderful whirlwind jam packed with smiles, laughs and memories we will cherish forever.
The past three weeks have been a mandatory slow down, another pregnancy put on "ordered rest". While it's always challenging to slow and rest, it's been an unexpected opportunity to reflect on what a wonderful year we've lived together.
& of course, while we've been sticking closer to home, I had to freeze time in the momentary pause. These two. Their own people. Their own STRONG personalities. So many differences. So much love for each other. So excited to witness their duo become a trio.
(and yes, she has more pics than him. She was all about giggling with Daddy in the front yard during our 10 min session. He wanted to play...and show off his belly, and muscles, and shark teeth. Fits the season.)
