Okay brides (and honestly anyone planning a celebration) i just wanted to share one of my favorite venues in Alabama: Shadow Wood Manor Wedding & Event Venue✨

This is NOT sponsored and they didn’t ask me to post this at all 😂 I just genuinely love photographing there. The property is gorgeous, the light is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and it’s one of those venues that photographs like a dream while also feeling warm and welcoming in person.

emails + galleries may be a little slower this week while we celebrate Addi’s birthday at Disney World 🖤

truthfully, my kids get the short end of the stick from this business sometimes. late night editing, wedding weekends away, answering emails while trying to make dinner, me saying “just one more gallery” more times than i’d like to admit.

so i’m really thankful for this week with them. and really thankful for all of you who support this little business and give me the space to step away and be fully mom for a few days. these memories with my girls wouldn’t be possible without y’all, and i don’t take that for granted for a second ✨

looking forward to hitting the ground running when we get back as we gear up for Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc+ another beautiful summer wedding season here in the south 🤍

We had the sweetest time at this year’s retreat capturing headshots, and I’m still not over it. Would just look at these women?!

Every single year I’m given the impossible task of choosing “Most Photogenic,” and every single year I walk away thinking the same thing…how could I ever choose?

Because it’s not just about a photo. It’s about presence. Confidence. Stories written in every line and every smile.

These women are the definition of grace, strength, and beauty that only deepens with time. The kind of beauty that I hope I am growing in everyday.

It’s always such an honor to photograph this group and be part of the joy, the laughter, and the sisterhood that fills the room.

I wanted to send a quick update regarding your photo galleries. I recently learned that my current hosting provider charges 0.50 per image download, which resulted in an unexpected and unmanageable bill. Because of this, I’m transitioning to a new gallery platform that will be better for both you and me going forward.

During this transition period, if you need your images immediately, you may right-click and save them directly from your gallery. If this is not working for you please message me and I will get your images to you immediately. This is temporary until the new system is live.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I work behind the scenes to get everything moved over. I’ll keep you updated, and the new gallery experience will be worth the switch!
