😠 I used to think it was unfair how some people just seemed to "get lucky" with their craft.

"Yeah, I dunno, I was painting something, and my kid knocked the paints onto the campus and I thought it looked cool so I finished it and sold it for $1000000."

Not fair! Right?

Well....

Here's what's really happening: the more you create - and the more you create freely - the luckier you get.

😵 You'll never be a victim of happy accidents if you're not putting yourself in harm's way.

Whatever your craft, do it every day. Just a little bit. You'll find that you'll start getting hit by the happy accident bus. 🚌

🎞 If you wanna know how shoot double exposures like this, it's simple:

1) Load your film (a forgiving film like Ilford HP5 used here will help).

2) Shoot the roll and remove the film.

3) Load it into your camera and shoot it again.

🔥 If you're intentional about this, you can choose content that coordinates well.

Accidentally double-exposed the same roll of film! 😯😬

First shoot was on a 50 year old Canon FTB over CHRISTMAS in NJ. The camera broke, so I pulled the film out and forget to label it.

6 months later, I shot the unmarked roll AGAIN on a 20 year old Canon Rebel 2000.

What do you think: was this a tragic mistake or a happy accident?

Big thanks to for making DF96 Monobath! Developing black and white film is so easy. I can develop 2 rolls in less than 1 episode of Seinfeld. 😹

PS: Can't wait for my Cinestill 400D to arrive. 🤙 That purple box.....
