What an incredible day our Community Fun Day was!!

&& On behalf of the Community Family Fun Day oragnizers, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, donated, shared our posts, and helped make our first Community Family Fun Day such a success!!!

Seeing families strolling Public Ave, children laughing and playing, local businesses welcoming visitors, and neighbors connecting with one another was exactly what we hoped this event would be. 🥹

🖍☀️ CHALK THE WALK on Public Ave! ☀️🖍

One of the most colorful parts of the Montrose Community Family Fun Day will be happening right outside Uptown Grill!

Families and kids are invited to help us “Chalk the Walk” along that side of Public Ave during the event on Saturday, June 20th from 11–2.

✨ Chalk will be provided
✨ FREE for everyone
✨ Come add your artwork, messages, doodles, and creativity to downtown Montrose!

Between the chalk art, bubbles, cotton candy, foam fun, and Play Passports, Public Ave is going to feel full of life and community all day long 💛

🎬 BONUS: Uptown Grill will also be hosting an outdoor showing of Free W***y at dusk that evening!

Bring the family, wear comfy clothes, and come help us brighten up the sidewalk! 🎨

Join us on Saturday, June 20th from 11–2, rain or shine on Public Ave & close surrounding areas for a day filled with FREE family fun, local businesses, activities, prizes, and community connection! 💛

--> Families can pick up a Play Passport at Uptown Grill, visit participating businesses throughout town, and collect at least 6 stamps/punches && Turn them into Uptown by 2pm to be entered to win some amazing raffle prizes!

✨ Here’s what you can look forward to:

📸 Miner Photography will be capturing moments throughout the day, and photos will be shared FREE with the community on her business page after the event.

They will be reading Sea themed stories every 1/2 hour throughout the event
