The train trestle is basically a South Haven rite of passage. Growing up in the area, climbing it was one of those things you just did as a teenager.

Fast forward to now, and somehow I’m climbing it again for senior photos, except this time I’m realizing I’m definitely not 18 anymore and my fear of heights and anxiety really kicked in. A little screaming, panic climbing but we got some sick shots in the meantime🤣

For years, I’ve picked up Minnesota Bride magazine and thought, “How cool would it be to have one of my photos in here someday?” Today, I get to say that dream came true.

It may not be an award, but to me, this feels just as special. Out of the countless incredibly talented photographers who have photographed weddings at Northern Pacific Center, I’m completely blown away that one of my images was chosen to be featured. It honestly feels surreal.

A huge thank you to Northern Pacific Center for making this small-town girl’s dream come true.

Kalley & Alex—thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day. Your love, your joy, and your story are what made this image come to life.

Happy Fourth of July! ❤️🤍💙

Today we’re celebrating 250 years of America, soaking up the sunshine, fireworks, and everything that makes this country feel like home.

It’s also a bittersweet day as we officially send off three incredible ambassadors. Thank you for representing the community with so much kindness, confidence, and heart this past year. I know you’re all headed toward amazing things. ❤️

As one chapter comes to a close, another begins. I can’t wait to meet and photograph the next three incredible young women who will wear the crown as the ‘26-27 ambassadors. I know this next group is going to bring their own unique personalities, friendships, and unforgettable memories.

Happy Independence Day, and here’s to celebrating new beginnings! 🇺🇸✨
