Athena’s first birthday was extra special to capture. Getting to document my niece’s journey as she grows is a reminder of why photography means so much to me: preserving the little moments that become the biggest memories.

One day, they’ll be grown, looking back at these photos and remembering what it felt like to be 11.
The arcade games, the belly laughs, the friendships, and the carefree days when making memories was as simple as showing up and having fun.
Alexus’s 11th birthday was a beautiful reminder that the moments that seem ordinary today often become the memories we treasure most tomorrow.
Because childhood doesn’t last forever, but photographs help us hold onto it a little longer.
