As many of you know the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund is near and dear to me. They are hosting the annual Rhythm and Brews event this Thursday, October 9th!
I have always been proud to support this incredible, locally grown organization that works to lighten the burdens and lift the spirits of families caring for children with serious illnesses.
The Dolan Fund provides critical financial assistance for needs not covered by insurance and offers a variety of respite programs for families in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Congregation Beth Or celebrates 35 years of leadership by Rabbi Gregory Marx. We have been fortunate to be lead with strength, laughter, love and kindness. His leadership and friendship will live on but sadly this marks the last of the formal confirmation pictures as he retires.

Come out and join me Saturday at the Cool Cars for Kids annual Philadelphia Concours d'Elegance at Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum.

Looking forward to this weekend! Another one of our corral cars is this 2018 Chevrolet Camaro, designed to commemorate 50 years of Hot Wheels, as the first Hot Wheels car was released in 1968, a 1967 Camaro. It was one of 1861 built (1 of 420 convertibles). The owner has this fun story about it!

“It all started at SEMA in October 2017 when Chevrolet released the video announcing the 2018 Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition. The video still gives me chills to this day! When I watched the video, I felt like a little 9-year-old filled with anticipation and excitement! I literally dropped everything and went running and screaming to my wife, ‘Lori!!! You have to see this! I want to order this car right now!’ Well, that was October 2017. I waited until the first day orders were able to be taken and took delivery of Build #468 on April 14, 2018. I have been a car enthusiast my entire life due to the Hot Wheels culture that started as a kid.”

Dara King is used to being BEHIND the camera… but today we are SHINING A LIGHT on this amazing Dolan Fund Supporter. She was drawn to the fund a decade ago after a chance meeting with Peggy when Dara was completing her photography course certification. In the years that followed, Dara supported our fund and mission in countless ways including donating her services as a photographer for special events. We’re honored to now have her on our Board of Directors. Dara… we appreciate you for all that you do to help us lighten the burdens of families with a child suffering from a disability or illness.
