Tip of the day: AI may be helpful for some things, but using a fully AI created image to advertise your photography holiday minis to potential clients is NOT the answer. My feed is filled with fake holiday sets being advertised. It's totally acceptable to create a "mock up" or inspo set in AI to use for yourself to brainstorm, but go the extra mile and actually bring that set to life, photograph it with REAL people and THEN show it to your clients. Because I'm going to bet that your actual setup, lighting, editing will look very different from that original dreamy AI image. It's not just photographers. Locations are doing it too. I saw a post from a farm that rents out their property for photo shoots. In their Ad (clearly AI) it shows a barn with a red vintage truck. After looking through their page I find out in the comments that they don't even own a vintage red truck but they "hope to offer that in the future" π
This is what we call false advertising and it is so frustrating to see it keep happening over and over (first photographers stealing images to use for advertising and now with AI). I just hope clients booking with me know that I dedicate so much time, work and energy into everything that I do. With me: what you see, is what you get!
