You will not find a nicer, harder-working kid than right here. I would wager that he can outwork most men and could sting an entire field by himself before he was 10, probably before that! And most of those smiles are for his mama, who thankfully was my lovely assistant; and his dad, who was fixing a pivot across the field. I love doing senior sessions because I get to showcase who these kids have become and their interests on the cusp of adulthood. I always feel so honored to get to do this job; telling a tale of coming-of-age. Farm kids are built different- independent, resourceful, mechanical, determined, resilient, they know direction, can read the weather, will work for hours on end (many times into the next day), are replenished with a cooler of food and Spotify, and are the true definition of grit. Conner is all those things and more. And he planted the grain field that he’s photographed in! I truly hope you love your images, Conner and Fam! Thank you again for choosing me.
