You two lovebirds, family & friends, your dream spot, and everyone being fully immersed in the moment- all day long. That is the gift that keeps on giving. The one that we’ll make together for you to keep forever.
3 things to consider when booking your photographer:
1. Style- What do you want your photos to look like? Candid? Clean? Do you want film? Digital? Editorial? What about coloring? Warm? True to color?
2. Feeling - can you see yourself in their work? Do you feel emotionally connected? Excited? Happy ? Nostalgic?
3. Vibe- Do you get along with them? Will they blend in with your friends, family, and wedding guests? Do they ease your nerves? Do they see you and your vision?
At the end of the day, your wedding photos will be a gift to you and all of your loved ones. To the ones that were in attendance and the ones that couldn’t make it. To see yourself documented in love, surrounded by love, and pouring out love is priceless. Budget and expectations are important factors that can be openly talked about and adjusted when speaking with your photographer. At the end of the day it’s the style, feeling, and vibe that you’ll remember from your experience- that will carry on for decades. They will be reminisced on around the dinner table and over the wedding scrapbook. Talking about all of these things with the photographer you’re booking will create connection. It should feel like relief, excitement, and full “yes” in your gut.
All of my clients have had these conversations with me. We openly talk about family dynamics, money, wedding dreams, how I can take away their stress of direction and being in front of the camera away, and so much more. I feel continually grateful to be trusted in such delicate and important conversations and moments. We’re in it together- every step of the way. Professionally, vulnerably, and creatively. I feel so grateful to take all of these steps with each of you.
