📸 HOW I MAKE “I’M AWKWARD IN PHOTOS” CLIENTS FEEL LIKE MODELS

• I talk… a LOT. Silence is scary. We don’t do scary here 😌
• I tell you exactly what to do with your hands (because no one knows)
• “Just act natural” is banned from my vocabulary 🚫
• We start with warm-up shots because the first 5 minutes don’t count
• I pose you from head to toe—thinking is optional
• I move with you so you’re never stuck standing like 🧍🏽‍♀️
• I hype you up like it’s my full-time job (because it is)
• I distract you with conversation so you forget there’s a camera
• I show you a good photo early so your confidence skyrockets 📈
• I remind you that everyone feels awkward… until they don’t 😉

✨ Bonus: By the end you’ll say,
“Wait… that was actually fun?”

That moment when you buy new equipment but have zero models, so you’re out here setting up the tripod like, “Welp… guess I’m the talent, the photographer, the stylist, AND the hype woman today.” 💁🏽‍♀️😎

and I can’t say I don’t show up for myself 😮‍💨😂

Anyway, Why Edgy Style Photos Are Actually the Best (and clearly my favorite 😍)
• They give attitude even when your subject is acting shy.
• The lighting? Moody. Dramatic. Delicious!
• Every shot looks like it belongs on an album cover from a singer who only performs at midnight.
• You can get away with messy hair, ripped jeans, uneven eyeliner — it all becomes “aesthetic.”
• Shadows do half the work for you (bless). 👏🏽👏🏽🤭
• There’s always someone who says, “OMG this looks like a whole vibe,” and honestly? They’re right. 🙌🏽
• Even mistakes look intentional. Blur? Motion? Grain? → Art. 👩🏽‍🍳😘
• Plus I don’t follow rules… I break them. And it photographs well. 🥰

Things we do as parents just to get that Christmas card photo 😅🎄✨

1. Bribe with snacks… then pray the crumbs don’t show in the picture
2. Smile through frozen fingers because “the lighting is perfect right now”
3. Pretend we’re not standing in questionable terrain because the background is cute
4. Whisper-yell “JUST ONE SMILE” like we’re losing it but trying to stay festive 😂
5. Chase our kids in the wind, cold, rain, fog, or full-on winter storm because… aesthetic. 💫
6. Accept that someone will cry, and it might be us 👀
7. Re-take the same pose 47 times because the toddler blinked, sneezed, or suddenly decided they’re over this
8. Realize every year that we’re absolutely doing this again next year because the memories? Worth it 🥹

To all the moms out there fighting the weather, the meltdowns, and the chaos — cheers. Your Christmas card is going to SLAY. 🎁✨🥂❤️
