I Didn’t Expect To Feel This Way came out of a quiet moment inside a side chapel in Cádiz. I wasn’t planning to feel anything—I was just drawn to the architecture and the light. But standing there, something shifted. The silence, the weight of the space, the presence of something sacred—I felt it all at once. Later, I added the blue tones not just to enhance the image, but to reflect what I felt: calm, clarity, and connection. I chose to print on metal to embody the quiet strength of that moment—solid, lasting, and quietly powerful.
It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t dramatic. It was just… real. The title says it all. This piece isn’t about some big transformation—it’s about those moments that sneak up on you when you’re still enough to notice.
