My name is Melissa, and I am a freelance Photographer. I currently reside in the West Michigan area, but I am open to traveling for shoots. At the moment, I am working on building my portfolio, and finding my niche in the photography world. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. It started with my grandma's Polaroid, and from there I moved onto rolls of film. I was going thr

ough so much film, that my parents finally had to set a monthly limit. While it was a bit of a financial blessing to have everything go digital, nothing will ever compare to picking up your photos after getting them developed, and flipping through them for the first time. I took both Photoshop and Photography courses while in school, and I have continued to further my education over the years in online courses and attending local classes. I am always looking for new opportunities to expand my knowledge in these areas. I have experience in photographing weddings, seniors, families, kids, engagements, and pregnancy announcements.
