It may not be something I post a lot, but I do love a good sign! When you think of Pittsburgh, one of the most iconic signs would be the Heinz ketchup neon sign located on the Heinz History Center. Built in 1995, it’s nearly 43 feet tall with 1200 lights and features a ketchup bottle emptying into the Heinz letters.

Photos from last night’s Pittsburgh Pirates fireworks! Highmark and the Three Sister Bridges were lit in rainbow colors for Pirates Pride Night. I set up almost under Fort Duquesne Bridge for this angle with Gateway Clipper as the star.

Happy National Iced Tea Day! Ok I just wanted an excuse to post these photos of Pittsburgh-based Turner’s Iced Tea I’ve taken over the years:

Photos 1-3: Turner’s headquarters in Penn Hills (thanks for the heads up!)

Photo 4: Iced tea carton with the Clemente Bridge I took for a convenience store client

Photo 5: Randomly took this in the grocery store because my photography brain never turns off

Photos 6-7: Turner’s car and pickled iced tea from Picklesburgh

After several years of trying and failing, I finally got photos of Pittsburgh’s rainbow bridge lights from this angle 🙌🏻 The first time I tried it, the weeds were too high. Last year they were cut down but PNC Park stadium lights were on, washing out my scene. Finally last night not only were the weeds cut again, the stadium lights were also off. Third time’s a charm, right?
