Typically these sessions are called “fresh 48”
But in reality they’re done during the first 24 hours because mamas are booted from the hospital at 24 hours
I mean, most mamas are ready to go anyway…but 🤷‍♀️😂

So I scurried over there last week to get a few real quick before this sweet baby makes her arrival!!!

What a sweet post to find today!
I don’t get to share a lot about the work I do here with Selahs. For many reasons,
I’m not good at boasting about the good I try to do in the world. I don’t share many of their images on line and even when I do, (per their request) their identity remains confidential.

I was a teen mom, from an incredibly broken home and childhood, But I chose life, and 32 years later, I have zero regrets.
It’s an honor to work with these incredible resilient mamas, and this amazing ministry that I was blessed to be a part of building 6 years ago.
Thank you Selah's Center of Hope for all the incredible work you do in the lives of mothers and their sweet babies!

Selah’s is so grateful for our partnership with BYP Studios, LLC in Monroe, who lovingly provides maternity and postpartum photo sessions for our residents and their babies.

These sessions are about so much more than beautiful photographs. They give our women the opportunity to feel seen, celebrated, and valued during a season of life that can feel anything but ordinary.

A simple photo session becomes a lasting reminder that their story matters, their motherhood is worth celebrating, and these precious moments deserve to be remembered.

We are incredibly thankful for community partners like BYP Studios who come alongside our mission and help restore dignity, create beautiful memories, and remind the women we serve that they are worthy of being celebrated. 🤍
