Last week I visited the marsh hoping to photograph egrets getting ready for migration. There were over 100 of them there but most were too far out for the kind of photos I was hoping. So I shifted my attention to the shore where several species of shorebirds were feeding. This Greater Yellowlegs coming in for landing turned out to be one of my favorite capture of the day

A familiar face from this week's trip out looking for bucks. I actually saw this beautiful buck last year, and it was pretty special to come across him again this year. His antlers has changed a bit , he has two distinctive drop points on the back. Always amazing to see how these bucks change from year to year
