A little update from me:
I have made an important decision regarding how I will be sharing your photos on our social media platforms.
Moving forward I will no longer be sharing children’s faces on all of my social media platforms and all galleries will require a password for your added privacy. I have also removed all previous sessions that feature children’s faces.
In the past clients have always signed consent forms giving us permission to share images for marketing purposes. While I will still require this as part of the process I will just no longer be posting children’s faces for privacy reasons especially after the new AI judge ruling.
Could this potentially hurt my business? Yes absolutely but that doesn’t matter. What matters the safety and privacy of your children.
You may ask does this change how our sessions will look? No! I will still get beautiful images of your family that you will get delivered straight to you. We can also get creative with images that don’t show a child’s face such as sweet moments from behind, little details, silhouettes, hands, feet, cuddles, and all of those beautiful in between moments that tell your family’s story. That way if you don’t post your child’s face you will have something to post still.
If you personally choose to share your images on your own social media and tag us, that is completely okay and entirely up to you. I will never ask you not to share your own images.
