Isn’t she just beautiful! Being apart of your life over the past several years has been amazing. From sleepovers with Sarah, driving you guys to camp, hiking and everywhere else we went. Photographing your engagement and wedding to now this amazing moment!!! It truly has been a honor being apart of your life and I can’t wait to welcome this sweet little baby into our lives too. 💕

My baby brother and his wife are also having a baby this fall!! 🩵 and I am so excited about my nephew coming this fall!!! I love you guys so much and can’t wait for all the memories that are going to be made.

Hey sweet girl, you did it!!
25 years ago today you photographed your first wedding!!

I’ve been sitting with you today.
I sat here today thinking about how much you have overcame, I’m so proud of you.

With the version of you who picked up a camera before you knew what you were doing… but somehow knew it meant something. The version of you who created in quiet places, who found beauty when life didn’t always feel beautiful, who held onto something inside you that said, “this matters”

I’m so sorry for all the moments you felt unseen.
The moments you questioned your worth.

Some of what you walked through was never your fault.
And some of the choices you made came from a heart that was trying to be loved.

But even in all of that… you kept going.

You kept showing up.
You kept creating.
You kept believing, somewhere deep down that your story wasn’t over.

God met you in the middle of your brokenness…
not when you had it all together… but right there in the middle of it.

He didn’t turn away from you.
He restored you.

Piece by piece…
He healed what hurt.
He filled the places that felt empty.
He showed you that you were never too far gone to be loved fully.

And now… you’re not that same little girl searching anymore.

You’re still her…
but you’re whole in ways she used to pray for.

Today we’re celebrating 25 years since you photographed your first wedding.

Twenty-five years of you not giving up.
Twenty-five years of you building something meaningful.
Twenty-five years of stories… because you kept going.

I see how far you’ve come.
I see the strength, the growth, the healing.

I’m so proud of you.
And today… I’m choosing you.

Not because you finally became enough…
but because you always were.

So I went to the store I bought you balloons, a cake and some flowers because you deserve it!!

My last wedding of 2025 was a super special one to me, my baby brother married the love of his life 🤍 What a way to end such a year of amazing weddings. I’m so so thankful to have been able to document this wedding. I cried, I smiled till my face hurt … it’s a wonder I got any photos from the tears in my eyes 🤪. I love you both so much! 🤍

Creativity Tip ✨
I encourage you to do a photoshoot in a place where you can simply wander. No agenda. No shot list. Just walking, talking with your client, and letting the environment lead.

There’s something powerful about being in a space where you’re not rushing. Different corners, textures, and light start jumping out at you. Creativity flows more naturally when you give yourself permission to slow down and explore.

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
This scripture has been resting heavy on my heart today.

If you’re walking through a hard season, or feeling like you aren’t showing up as your best self it’s okay. I’ve been there. Honestly, I was there this morning.

I went into my closet and cried out to God,
“I need You.”
“I can’t do this without You.”

I asked Him to touch my mind and my heart, to quiet the thoughts that were causing me to spiral, and to give me strength where I felt empty. And I know He heard me because peace came. But I refused to take another step without letting Him take control.

So if you’re facing something heavy today, cry out to Him. He hears you.

My heart has been especially tender toward women who feel unseen… the ones who wonder if they matter, the ones craving to be loved simply because they are worthy not because of what they can do or give.

There is nothing you have to do to earn God’s love.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve walked away from Him or served Him your whole life.He wants a relationship, deeper and closer than before.

And I can tell you from experience: there is nothing no person, no achievement, no thing that can fill that longing to be loved the way God can.

You matter. You are seen. And His grace really is enough. 🤍
