POV: Your camera bag is bigger than you, your flight is before sunrise, and you’re headed to Manhattan for a full day of headshots.

And honestly? I’d do it all again tomorrow.

From fixing hair to cracking jokes to making sure everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera, this was one of those days that reminded me why I love what I do.

Thankful for the opportunity to work with the incredible team at Wells Fargo and capture the faces behind the work.

What a day. What a city. What a privilege.

What I’m really doing is helping businesses create trust before a conversation ever happens. Helping potential clients understand your value before they inquire. Helping your audience connect with the face behind the business.

Every image is answering a question:

Can I trust you?
Are you professional?
Do you understand your craft?
Are you worth the investment?

Strong branding photography isn’t about having pretty photos for Instagram. It’s about creating visual proof of who you are and what you bring to the table.

Because the right image doesn’t just get likes.

It gets remembered.
It gets shared.
It gets booked.

That’s the difference.

Busy season has a way of pulling you in every direction.
Flights, deadlines, timelines, late nights, serving people with excellence while quietly trying to keep yourself afloat in the process. Somewhere in the middle of all of it, self-care can start to feel impossible.

But I’ve realized something lately… Christ is my self-care.

He is what keeps me steady when life feels loud.
He is what keeps me focused when my mind is scattered.
He is what keeps me covered, protected, and held together by grace when I feel stretched thin.

There are so many moments where I have to pull away from the noise just to sit with Him again. To reset. To be reminded who’s actually carrying me through all of this.

I call it being put back on the charger. 🤍

Because no amount of hustle can sustain me the way His presence does.

Nicole with absolutely did her thing yesterday. Watching her launch this rebrand with so much intention, style, and grace was something special, and I truly could not be more excited for this new chapter she’s stepping into. ✨

There is something so powerful about watching someone evolve, refine their vision, and boldly step into what they’ve been building behind the scenes.

And what an honor it is to not just witness that journey, but to be trusted as an integral part of it. Getting to document these milestones, these pivots, these “this is who I am now” moments for brands will never be something I take lightly. So proud of you, Nicole. This is only the beginning. 🤍

Plot twist: my chiropractor fixes my back and ended up in front of my camera.

Spent years getting adjusted by Dr.K… now it was my turn to do the aligning. Safe to say we snapped more than spines this session. Really honored to have been a part of launching her new space right in Matthews, North Carolina. Once she’s all set up in there, wait to capture part two and share this journey with you all!.

Brand sessions like this are my favorite — giving businesses imagery that feels as good as walking out after an adjustment.

From the eclectic setting, to caviar hors d’oeuvres, branded pillows, goodie bags, and really intimate vibes, this evening evening was absolutely amazing from start to finish. One of my favorite things I love about capturing corporate events is the ability to capture the company’s pulse behind what drives them.
