To our future Santa clients…you want the glitter! Most clients arrive to pick up their portraits and see all the glittered portraits and change their mind!

As Santa session season winds down I want to officially announce my semi-retirement!!! Whatever will I do will all of my time and energy you ask??? I will be spending time with my family ( having adult children is awesome) and friends, taking trips, fishing, learning to paint, gardening, landscaping, taking good care of my husband and home, working out and getting strong, taking my mountain bike on as many adventures as Mark will tolerate, raising chickens and giving time and service to God’s beautiful people while worshipping Him through it all!
They are pouring the foundation for my new studio this week so as you see changes at my current location, know that I’m moving but I’m not out completely.
This may not sound like semi-retirement to most but I will stay in operation photographing the least time consuming projects and I am hiring other photographers to work under my name for a majority of the work I keep but it does mean a drastic reduction of work I accept. The only things I plan to continue photographing are headshots and Santa and if I get my property landscaped how I have envisioned, I will take families and extended families. I will also continue framing from the new shop so much of that part of my business will not change other than location .
If you are already on the 2026 calendar I will gladly be fulfilling these obligations.
I’m so excited for what’s coming next!!! Merry Christmas everyone!
