October 11th - Field Mini Sessions
• Held at a location inside Pea Ridge Military Park featuring rustic fences, golden fields, glowing warm end of summer foliage and an overall dreamy look.

October 24th - Forest Mini Sessions
• Also held at a location inside Pea Ridge Military Park with an emphasis on capturing fall colors and a true classic autumn feel.

I'm taking advantage of what I hope is the peak of summer's glow and throwing some flash mini sessions!

The chosen location is Pa's Posey Patch. This time of year flower crops can be hard to catch in the peak bloom, but we'll use whatever is there and have golden fields regardless.

I realized something this past year, and I still can't put it perfectly into words.

Essentially, it's very easy to let pursuit of the imaginary concept of "perfection" replace chasing a feeling of wonder.

I could (and might) put a post or two out on the topic of burnout, and of choosing technical ability over curiosity and passion, but right now what what I'm saying is that I miss CREATIVITY in photography!

When I first started out, I was obsessed with light, shadows, and turning abstract ideas and feelings into tangible images. Giving people an opportunity to view the world- and themselves- in a way they never had before.

I want to experiment again. Try new things, have fun, and get outside of the box I've built around myself.

If you've ever wanted portraits that feel more like art than a traditional photoshoot—this is your sign.

I'm looking for people who are open to creating something a little unexpected with me. No pressure for perfection, just something that feels like YOU!

Hi, all! Mid-summer is here, which means it's the time I usually open Christmas Minis for booking!

However, due to life circumstances I haven't gotten around to planning those this year, and the tree farm which serves as my usual location only has 4 dates left.

I know these are a favorite, but I wanted to put out some feelers and see what kind of interest there is in these sessions this year.

So- let me know your thoughts on Christmas Tree Minis, or what alterntive minis you'd be interested in!
