Taking a moment to celebrate my baby sister who played in her last VHSL Soccer game last night. A talented player but an even better person, her character is one of strength, integrity, determination, humility, and grit. With a career encompassing multiple first team all district and first team all region awards as well as four years as a dedicated varsity captain, I will miss watching her take the field. One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is learning about your story and getting a glimpse of the lives you’ve built. I love seeing the interactions with your people and hearing the heartfelt and often hilarious stories shared during speeches. I always leave reflecting on my own life and the story I’m living and telling. This day left me thinking about the wonderful community that is built when you live life with an open heart, free spirit, and genuine kindness.
