One thing my clients don’t know... I’m constantly trying not to get distracted by birds. 😂 Nature has always inspired my photography, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Don’t let me nerd out on you during our session🤪

Are you a wildlife person too?

You don’t have to have it all together for your memories to matter!!!

If you’ve been putting off family photos, or debating on doing a maternity session because you’re waiting for life to feel perfect, this is your reminder that this season of life will look different in a few months and so different in a year. Don’t hold off!! No matter who you choose for a photographer, please capture what life looks like now. Have something to hold on to!

Real family memories don’t always sound peaceful... and that’s okay. 😂
Most of our outings include several tantrums and lots of crying. You can never tell from the pictures, and memories were still made!
The chaos doesn’t make the memories any less meaningful. Tag another parent who gets it.

Even in the rain you will here me yell “beautiful!!! I love it!! Just one more!! This is sooo pretty!! Yeeeessss!!”

I will never stop!

One of my favorite prompts for couples!

Those little words of encouragement throughout a session really do make a difference.

Most of my clients tell me they’re nervous before we start, but by the end, they’re laughing, moving naturally, and forgetting the camera is even there.

A little direction, a lot of encouragement, and some pretty views at Cypress Gardens.

Cypress Gardens has quickly become one of my favorite places to photograph, but after several sessions there, I've learned that there's so much more to planning the perfect boat session than simply showing up.

Between getting there before the gates open, reserving a boat before the crowds, planning the best route, and knowing exactly where and how to photograph throughout the gardens, every session requires a little extra preparation. That's why I now offer Cypress Gardens as its own specialty session with a completely customized experience.

I put together a guide covering everything I've learned, including what to expect, the best time of year to visit, what to wear, and tips to help make your experience as smooth as possible.

If you've ever wanted photos at the iconic filming location from *The Notebook*, I hope you'll find it helpful!

One of my hundred side projects I’m working on right now is a Location guide that I can send to my clients to help them choose the perfect place for their photos!!

I plan on going to all of my favorite locations and scouting new ones and capturing photos of the scenery.

I’m excited for this project because it allows me to explore and get creative with landscapes.

Here is the trail at Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park featuring the Ravenel Bridge📸💛

I’ve lived in the Charleston area my whole life. I’ve driven over the Ravenel Bridge more times than I could count and been to Memorial Waterfront Park plenty of times, but somehow I’d never walked the trail between the park and Patriots Point until recently.

It ended up having one of my favorite views of the bridge.

It’s funny how we can spend our whole lives somewhere and still have so much left to discover. One of my goals this year is to spend more time exploring the Lowcountry, bringing my camera along, and appreciating places I might have otherwise driven right past.

So now I need your help. What’s one Charleston area spot you think everyone should visit at least once?
