My white set has been the number one pick lately, and I can see why…clean and simple 🤍

There’s just something so timeless and beautiful about a mama with her girls.

A little sneak peek at my Halloween set from today’s model sessions.

This set will be open for booking next week, and there’s an extra special reason to book. A portion of every session will go toward stocking our local food banks, which are in desperate need of help feeding families during the holidays.

Cute pictures that help make a difference. More details coming next week!

After reading about this law passing, I was honestly disgusted… I still can’t wrap my head around how something like this could happen.

I’ve already seen so many photographers choosing to stop sharing images of children altogether, while others are blurring their faces. I completely understand their reasoning, but the reality is that photos of our children are already everywhere… online, at school, on social media, in yearbooks, in stores, and so many other public places. Our children are photographed and recorded every single day. And with AI, even something as simple as placing a sticker over a child’s face may not be enough to protect their image.

Because of that, I completely understand and agree with this photographer’s perspective.

As I move forward, I’ll continue sharing my work, but I’ll also continue letting each parent decide whether or not they are comfortable with me sharing their children’s images. I already have families who choose not to give permission, and I completely respect that. ❤️

At the end of the day, every family has to make the decision that feels right for them, and I want my clients to feel comfortable knowing their wishes will always be respected.

I’ve seen a lot of posts circulating about AI and photographers choosing to stop sharing photos of children, and I wanted to share my perspective.

I absolutely believe AI needs stronger regulation, especially when it comes to protecting children. But I also think we need to be careful about creating fear without looking at the bigger picture.

At what age does it become ok to post your face online? Teenagers? Adults? Pets? Elderly? Do we just never post the young children and only post older ones? Cause you guys stopped posting childrens faces just to turn around and post a senior session that even tagged the girls school..

And it raises a bigger question: Blurring face removes their face but what about their body that you guys are still posting? Do you believe they only use your child’s face and not their body?

That’s why I don’t believe this issue is as simple as “stop posting kids.”

I believe in being cautious. I believe parents should have complete control over whether I share their children. And if you EVER tell me you don’t want your child posted, I will respect that, no explanation necessary.

But I also won’t use fear surrounding AI and make parents feel terrified about something that is much more complicated than a Facebook post. There are predators irl - they are in your schools. In your churches, dr offices, they are in stores. They are hiding behind family titles, they are next door neighbors, and could even be sitting at your big holiday family dinner table. Social media is NOT the only place to start being vigilant all of a sudden.

I’ll continue sharing my work while respecting every family’s wishes, just as I always have. Protecting children matters. So does giving parents accurate information and allowing them to make the choice that’s right for their family. 🤍

7 years ago, I photographed this sweet baby girl’s big brother with his dad in a photo very similar to this one. ❤️

So when Lexie reached out to me for her newborn photos, I couldn’t help but think about that image and recreate it with her little girl.

I absolutely love when my clients come back to me through the years and I get to capture their growing families… it makes these sessions even more special. 🥹🤍

Big brother’s photo is in the comments! ⬇️

🎃👻 I NEED A FEW LITTLE HALLOWEEN CUTIES! 👻🎃

I’m looking for a few kiddos to help me model my Halloween set! 🖤🧡

This is NOT a free session, but it is dirt cheap compared to my normal session pricing! I’m asking for a $45 model fee for these sessions.

I have a few dates available:
📅 September 1st
📅 September 4th
📅 September 21st

And there’s an extra special reason I’m doing these! 🧡

These Halloween sessions will be part of my holiday food drive, with a portion of the proceeds going toward helping some of our local food banks stock their pantries for the holidays. 🎄🥫

So not only will your little one get some adorable Halloween photos, but you’ll also be helping us give back to families in our community as we head into the holiday season. ❤️

I’m looking for kiddos who are comfortable in front of the camera and ready to have a little Halloween fun! 👻🎃

$45model fee is due to reserve your spot. Price is for up to 2 kids, $15 per extra child: Spots are limited, so if you’re interested, comment below or send me a message! 🧡
