PUBLIC NOTICE: Payment Policy
To maintain consistent business practices, transparency, and financial security for both my clients and my business, I want to clarify my payment policy.
This has always been my business practice, and it is not a new policy. However, I have recently noticed an increasing trend of clients requesting or insisting on alternative forms of payment outside of my established processes. To be clear, these requests will not be accommodated.
Cash and personal checks are not accepted for photography sessions or services. The only exception is checks issued by nonprofit organizations for approved nonprofit services.
All other clients must submit payments through my secure online payment processing system. This policy is firm and applies to all sessions, services, and events, regardless of the amount owed.
This is particularly important for weddings and other events involving larger financial transactions. Using an established, documented payment process ensures that both parties have a clear record of payments made, outstanding balances, and completed transactions. Maintaining this paper trail helps protect everyone involved, promotes accountability, and prevents potential misunderstandings.
I understand that everyone has their own payment preferences, but I also have established business practices that I expect to be respected. Alternative payment arrangements will not be made outside of the exceptions outlined above.
