If you've ever wanted to develop your own photos in a darkroom, this workshop is for you! This Saturday, 11am-3pm at Black hawk College, learn the basics of pinhole photography, use darkroom chemicals to develop your photos, and walk away with one-of-a-kind images that feel more like small pieces of art than snapshots. All materials and tools are provided.*

Using the Pinsta Camera, a compact all-in-one pinhole camera and portable darkroom, you’ll compose, expose, and develop your own black-and-white photo—right inside the camera.

Visit the link to purchase your ticket.

Shoot and develop your own photos using a pinhole camera, then develop them—no darkroom necessary!

I had so much fun talking about the magic of solarigraphy today! Can’t wait to see our results in September.

Spend your summer solstice learning how to build a pinhole camera to take long exposure photos of the sun in this hands-on solarography workshop! $20 covers the materials for 2 cameras as well as instructions for taking a picture and processing it.*

Solarography is a method of photography using light and time (and an empty soda-can), capturing the movement of the sun and shadows as they move.

This workshop is for anyone of any experience in photography, you do not need specialized equipment or any previous experience. Ages 13+, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

*There will be an optional second workshop meeting after the fall equinox for anyone who wants hands-on instructions for retrieving and processing their photo.
