Earlier last week, Ahmed arrived in California. Thanks to the hard work of .palestine , he will be receiving treatment for his injuries in Sacramento.
Ahmed was one of ‘s patients during his first medical mission to Gaza. Due to an Israeli missile that struck nearby Ahmed, his legs were “completely shredded and half of his left hand was destroyed. He was going in and out of consciousness” and they did not think Ahmed was going to make it.
Ahmed and his mom were met with overwhelming support and love from people from the Bay Area, Sacramento, and beyond, including people from , , , and more. And it was a beautiful reunion for Ahmed and Dr. Subeh.
It has been nearly 300 days of Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. I don’t know what else to say other than we, as Americans, need to work way harder to stop it: join protests, attend teach-ins, educate others who may not even know what’s going on, boycott companies that are complicit, contact your representatives.

(Dr. Subeh recently returned from his 2nd medical mission and, since his return, he has tirelessly been continuing his advocacy work. Please follow him to hear about his on the ground experience in Gaza.)
