Last week we worked with the team over at Balanced Books LLP and we captured a portrait of their CEO.

This wasn’t a planned photo, but something we came up with fairly quickly. Leadership in every organization needs to look their best. I love the overall look and feel of the image. What do you think? 😀

Most people think we’re just photographers…but that is the furthest from the truth. We’re coaches, guides, directors, basically anything and everything to help you get comfortable and appear confident in front of the camera. We’re just TWO WEEKS away from the 40th Annual Edible Extravaganza! And if our Media Preview was any indication, we are in for an incredible night!

Our Media Preview was a huge success, bringing together delicious food, local businesses, community partners, sponsors, and media for a little taste of what’s to come on September 24.

We were excited to welcome featured vendors Atrium, Big Vic’s BBQ, Delicioso Bistro, Greens on Tenth, Saucin’ It Up Fried Chicken, Sweet Potato Pie Company, and Woods Pizzeria, who treated guests to samples of the delicious bites they’ll be bringing to Edible Extravaganza.

We were also joined by our presenting sponsors, Beard Land Improvement Co. and Modesto & Empire Traction Co., along with our underwriting sponsors, who continue to make this event possible.

Local media had the opportunity to connect with our vendors, learn more about their businesses, hear why they support Edible Extravaganza and Center for Human Services, and get a sneak peek at what they’ll be serving at the main event.

Behind the scenes capturing 90 years of living.
When you’re there photographing someone who’s seen nine decades; who’s loved, built, celebrated, and survived, you realize something shifts. This happens automatically.  Every frame becomes sacred. Every laugh line tells a story.

This is what we chase in our work: not just photos, but proof that you existed in this moment. That you mattered to someone enough that they said, “capture this.”

And it got us thinking:

🤔 How many moments are we rushing through without seeing them?
🤔 What if every birthday—every Tuesday, every conversation—was treated like a milestone worth remembering?
🤔 What would change if we stopped postponing the joy?

Behind every shot is the reminder that life’s most precious currency isn’t money. It’s moments. The ones we’re in. The ones we’re building. The ones we’re celebrating together.

Headshots on-location saves time for employees and businesses all while they’re still able to operate. Depending on the number of individuals, we can get this done in one day and the company will have rock-solid headshots that they’ll proudly put on their website.
