Sharing something close to my heart today. 📷

Photography was my first love — long before anything else, it was the thing that made me feel most alive. Life happened, time passed, and somewhere along the way I let it slip to the back burner.

Not anymore.

I'm pouring everything back into it, starting with these self portraits. There's something about turning the lens on yourself that demands honesty — and honestly? It feels good to be back.

Well, the cats out of the bag! My sweet sweet friend Madison gifted me the honor of photographing this incredible and intimate moment. There were no dry eyes! IT'S A GIRL!!! She has no idea just how loved she will be, not only by her mama, daddy and sister, but by the whole village she has.
