Truthfully, I’m not trying to impress.

I’m simply trying to connect with people and tell stories that matter. YOUR stories. Not someone else’s, not mine, your story.

Some of my favorite photographs aren’t the grand or extravagant ones. They’re the ones that feel like real life.

A little boy fishing with his mom.

A couple spending the afternoon with their horses.

Kids running barefoot through the grass.

A family gathered on a front porch at sunset.

The ordinary moments.

Because one day, those moments won’t feel ordinary at all.

They’ll become the memories you wish you could step back into one more time.

That’s why I love photography.

Not because of perfect locations, trendy poses, or creating something that looks like a magazine.

But because it preserves the people you love, the places you love, and the life God has blessed you with.

At the end of the day, I don’t want you to look at your photos and see a photoshoot.

I want you to look at them years from now and remember exactly how it felt to be there.

To see the authentic you. 💗

I used to think something was wrong with me ..

Comparison is truly a thief of joy.

If I’m being honest, I still catch myself scrolling sometimes and thinking, “Dang, I wish I was that cool.” “I wish I dressed more trendy.” “I wish my life looked more aesthetic.” “I wish I knew how to post and make it give cool girl.” 😂

But then I remember something.

God never asked me to be anybody else.

He didn’t create us to all look the same, act the same, dress the same, dream the same, or enjoy the same things. He made each of us unique, and that includes our personalities, interests, strengths, quirks, and even the things we sometimes wish were different about ourselves.

The truth is, I’ve spent a lot of time realizing I don’t have to be trendy to be happy or to appeal to the right people. I’d rather throw on a T-shirt and go. I don’t like makeup. I LOVE country music concerts. East Tennessee and Montana feel like paradise to me. I’d choose a mountain view or a cow pasture over a fancy city or beach any day.

Most nights are spent at home bundled up in a seasonal Walmart mumu, wrapped in my Vera Bradley blanket, scrolling TikTok and laughing. I love working hard, but I love spending time with my family even more.

And you know what else I think is such a blessing? So many of my clients are the same way. We work hard, love our families, love Jesus, take a trip every now and then, and find joy in the simple things. I’m so thankful for the people God has brought into my life through this business. Y’all are truly some beautiful souls. 💗

I don’t have some huge glamorous life goal right now. Honestly, I’m just trying to see what the next day holds, enjoy the little things, love the people around me, and become debt free somewhere along the way. 😂

And you know what? That’s okay.

Because the world doesn’t need another copy of someone else. God already made them.
He made me, Hannah Keene.

And the older I get, the more thankful I become for exactly who He created me to be. 💗

After spending a week a month in the Smokies for the last 2 months, I’ve had a lot of people ask for my favorites, so here ya go 💗

☕ Coffee: Heavenly Roast. I’ve tried SO many other’s there, they are good, but nothing compares.

🥞 Breakfast: Sawyer’s Farmhouse

🥪 Lunch: The Pottery House Café

🎢 Attraction: SkyFly 1000%. I do it over and over again. Also, just hanging out at The Island at night. The fountain show, live singers outside Ole Smoky, and all the rides make it such a vibe.

🥩 Dinner: Alamo Steakhouse or The Peddler (I’m a steak and potatoes girl)

🍞 Dessert: The Cinnamon Bread Factory

🐻 Best Bear Spot: Drive Ski Mountain Road about 1 hour before sunset

You’re not reading this from Gatlinburg. You’re there. The Smoky Mountains.

You’re winding down a mountain road with the windows down, the cool mountain air blowing through your hair. Around every curve is another view that makes you slow down just a little more. You glance over and spot a crystal clear creek rushing over the rocks. You can hear the water before you even stop the car. Birds are singing somewhere in the trees above as the fresh mountain air fills your lungs. You pull off to the side of the road and follow a little trail through the woods. Before long, an old cabin appears between the trees. You step onto the porch and hear the weathered floorboards creak beneath your feet. The cabin has been standing here since the 1920s, frozen in time. You run your hand along the old wood and can’t help but wonder who once lived here. If those walls could talk. Yep, that’s your stomach growling lol Off to the Gatlinburg strip you go. The smell of fresh corn dogs drifts out of Fannie Farkle. A few steps later it’s sizzling steaks from The Peddler. Everywhere you turn there’s something tempting you to stop and eat. Tomorrow morning you’ll wake up early, grab a hot cup of coffee from Heavenly Roast, and stand in line at Pancake Pantry. Then maybe spend the evening cheering and laughing along at Dolly Parton’s Stampede. As you’re walking around town, you hear screams and laughter echoing through the mountains above. Yep, there’s the mountain coaster. One look at the people flying down the track with their hands in the air and suddenly you’re buying tickets. Then traffic comes to a stop. You look ahead wondering what’s going on. A mama bear and her cubs are crossing the road. Cameras come out. Smiles spread across faces. Nobody’s in a hurry anymore. As the sun starts to set, The Island comes alive with music, lights, and excitement. One more ride on SkyFly before calling it a night. Then it’s back to the cabin. You slip into the hot tub as the cool mountain air brushes against your face. The water is warm. The stars are starting to appear overhead. Fireflies light up the trees. The sounds of the mountains grow quiet. And for a little while, life feels simple. Just you, the mountains, and a place you’ll already be missing before you leave…

Some people are just genuinely kind. Some people are grace filled. Some people are positive thinkers. And that’s a beautiful thing to witness 🩷

5 a.m. post from me today because I’m loading up my suitcase and heading 9 hours out of state all because of a client. Some days I still have to stop and take it all in. What started as a camera and a dream has allowed me to travel, meet incredible people, and document moments that matter. I’m grateful to the good Lord above for every opportunity, and I’m grateful for every person who has trusted me with their memories over the years. I never take that support for granted. I’ll be using this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the trip. I’ll be back Wednesday and will return all messages then. Y’all have a blessed weekend! 🫶🏻
