I’m playing catchup on sharing the biggest season of love I’ve ever seen as a wedding photographer 💌 And I can’t help but giggle at how I find some sentimental attachment to every client I work with, like Ruth here, my first wedding back into the industry, she officiated. My second local vendor wedding this year, and it makes this season so much more special!! I’m not crying YOU ARE!!!

MODEL ☎️ CALL

I’m looking for a few women to model for an upcoming shoot with a local boutique on November 1st.

We’ll be styling pieces from their collection and creating a variety of looks throughout the shoot. No modeling experience is necessary, just be comfortable in front of the camera and open to direction.

We’d love to bring together women with a range of sizes, personal styles, and looks for this project.

I started off my season with such a special wedding, and I think I’ve held off sharing these photos cause I wasn’t quite sure how to express my gratitude in words. In a world full of talent, it never escapes me how lucky I am folks choose me to document their lives. It means so much more when two of those humans see this line of work day in and out and still choose me….. amongst all the talent. Me. I’ve had the honor to watch this family grow from behind my camera, and now continue to do so. I could share so much about what the sentiment of capturing moments for these two meant, but I’ll just leave it short today.

Just the Berga family + the downtown squirrels on a sunny afternoon 🐿️ 🌞

I’m honored anyone chooses me to document their moments, but a little even more so when it’s another photographer. Truthfully, I’ve always had a hard time finding my people in this world …and it was no different for me when I went to seek out friends who shared the same love I do for this art. I feel like nobody talks about how hard it can be to make photographer friends in the same area as yourself. There’s this weird layer to it that everyone seems way to focused on …comparison, competition, wondering if someone actually wants to be your friend or if it’s just “networking.” After doing this for a while, I had pretty much accepted that maybe local photographer friends just weren’t going to be a thing for me.

Then there’s photographers like Emily.. I can’t tell you how many weddings she’s helped me make an absolute success, the wins we’ve shared together, the honest late nights about the hard times, and cheering eachother on outside of work… cause at the end of the day it’s genuine.

This job leads me to a lot of cool people, and I’ll never get over it!! After this session I found out how much they love being in front of my lens, so you probably already recognize these ADORABLE faces!
