One of the first images I created with the legendary Fuji X100 camera.

I've had several newer versions of the X100, but there was something magical about the original. It was one of the first digital cameras that felt like an old school manual camera with dial controls.

We made the call and got a puppy. Meet Ziggy. He’s about 8 weeks old. He’s a Golden Retriever. And he’s ridiculously cute and smart. He’s grown and become exponentially smarter since we picked him up a few weeks ago. He’s going to be part trouble and the best companion ever.

Stay tuned. I’ll be photographing him as he grows and does amazing things.

A color landscape photograph composed of Coffee and Yerba Mate grounds close up using a macro lens. A tiny little world of caffeine bliss.

I drink Coffee and Yerba Mate. Which one depends on my feelz. I knock the grounds off the back porch because I figure it’s fine for the soil and the neighborhood bears don’t care. It’s not food compost.

When I knock out the grounds some stay on the fence and railing.

I busted out my camera, macro lens, and tripod to create a landscape of the grounds in close detail.
