It’s the little moments like this. 💜

Before the wedding, Christina’s adorable little niece came into the room, and Christina had some special jewelry for her to wear.

The hugs, the tiny bracelets, the sweet little interaction between the two of them... it was such a precious moment to witness and photograph.

These are some of my favorite moments from a wedding day. The ones that happen naturally, without any posing or planning, and become such special memories. 💜

Fall colors, a beautiful couple, and a Clydesdale horse!! 🍂🐴💜

I had such a fun time photographing Alyxis + Isaiah’s engagement session at Lazy Sousa Ranch in Huson! The fall colors were absolutely gorgeous, and getting to include one of the ranch’s beautiful Clydesdales in their photos was a special treat!

This session was extra meaningful to me, too. I used to work with Isaiah’s mom back in my physician assistant days, and I actually photographed Isaiah’s senior portraits several years ago!

It’s pretty special getting to reconnect with families over the years and be invited back to capture new chapters in their lives.

I’m so excited to photograph Alyxis + Isaiah’s wedding next summer! 💜

Bryce + Cassie came to Glacier National Park for their honeymoon after getting married back home in Wisconsin, and decided to celebrate with a photo session in the mountains. 💜

Apparently, a few locals wanted in on the shoot. 😂🐐 We spotted several mountain goats (and babies!), and TWO walked right across our path between me and Bryce + Cassie while we were taking photos!

Definitely one of those Glacier moments that puts a smile on your face and that you don’t soon forget!! 🏔️💜

One year ago today, Katie + Cody said “I do” surrounded by the beauty of Glacier National Park. 💜

These two have such a beautiful love for one another, and they are also spunky as can be! Their intimate ceremony at Avalanche Amphitheater was sweet, personal, and completely them... right down to the cannabis bar at their reception, which was definitely a first for me! 😂

I loved getting to wander around Glacier with them afterward for photos and capture a little of that fun, adventurous energy they share.

Happy ONE YEAR, Katie + Cody!! 🥂 I hope today finds you loving each other well, taking care of each other, and having just as much fun together as ever.

Christina & Joe 💜

I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know these two over the past year! We first spent time together during their engagement session at Lost Horse Observation Point in Hamilton (an absolutely incredible spot, if you’ve never been!), were I also got to meet Joe’s daughter, Gracie, and their two pups.

Their wedding day at River Edge Resort in Alberton was beautiful and filled with so much heartfelt emotion. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was the way they honored Christina’s late mother, with a memorial table, and special reading and candle lighting during the ceremony. It was such a beautiful way to make her presence part of the celebration, and I truly felt like she was with us that day.

Cheers to Christina & Joe and this next chapter together! Wishing you both, and your beautiful family, so much love and happiness in the years ahead. 🥂

Senior photos, Montana style. 💜

Colton and his family come out to Montana a couple times a year to visit family, so when it was time for senior photos, his mom had the idea to do something a little different and capture them here in a place they already love coming to.

We headed to Maclay Flat and Blue Mountain for some of that quintessential Missoula scenery, with mountains, river, and plenty of beautiful Montana landscape. And since baseball is a big part of Colton’s life, of course we worked in his jersey, glove, and baseball into a few, too. ⚾

I love that these photos get to document not only Colton’s senior year, but also a place that already holds some special memories for his family.

Congratulations on your senior year, Colton! I hope it’s the best year yet!

Dakota + Spencer 💜

Last weekend, these two celebrated at The Barn at Teller Wildlife Refuge in Corvallis, surrounded by friends and family from Montana and Virginia, along with their three beautiful girls, Avery, Sutton + Aspen.

It was my first time photographing a wedding here, and what a gorgeous spot! The red barn and Bitterroot Mountain views were gorgeous.

But my favorite part? The party upstairs in the barn. 🙌

Dakota + Spencer were out on the dance floor with their friends all night long, having an absolute blast. And THAT is what I love getting to capture: not just what your wedding looked like, but what it actually felt like to be there. 💜
