I KNOW HIM!!!

Okay, okay, okay, I've been a little naughty by keeping this from you, but I can officially say that Santa will be making a stop at the studio this upcoming holiday season! Today is my 45th birthday.

While I'm not a huge fan of officially hitting my "mid-forties", I always love birthdays because they remind me to stop and ask myself one simple question:

"Am I spending my time on the things that matter most to me?"

Over the past year, that question has changed everything in my life. Photography included. I've realized I don't want to build my business around doing MORE sessions. I want to build it around creating BETTER ones.

This next chapter of Crystal Kelly Photography is built around one word:

✨ INTENTIONAL✨

Intentional with my time.
Intentional with my energy.
Intentional with my creativity.
Intentional with the people I serve.
Intentional with the stories I tell.

For too long, I chased perfection and volume. Somewhere along the way, I realized I was spending more time perfecting photos than truly connecting with the people in them. That's not the photographer I want to be.

Beginning in August, my business model and pricing will be changing to allow me to create a more personal, thoughtful, and intentional experience for every client. But before that happens, I want to celebrate my birthday and give you one last opportunity to secure a session at my old pricing.

So, I'm opening up THE FINAL FIVE.

These are the last five sessions available at my old pricing.

Here's how it works:
πŸ–€ Purchase your session now at today's pricing.
πŸ–€ Schedule your session later for a date that works for you.

These sessions can be used for families, couples, seniors, maternity, pets or branding.

Thank you for believing in me through every season of this journey. I truly believe my best work is still ahead of me, and I can't wait to share this next chapter with you.

Here's to another trip around the sun... and to living, creating and loving with intent.

For a long time, I thought I had simply lost my passion for photography. The truth is I had lost myself.

Somewhere along the way, photography became more about perfection than people. More about pressure than purpose. I spent too much time chasing my own expectations, comparing myself, overthinking every image, and slowly forgetting why I fell in love with this career in the first place. So I stepped away.

I needed the time.
I needed to rest.
I needed quiet.

Most of all I needed to remember who I was before I let fear and perfectionism take the driver's seat. The past 16 months have changed me in ways I never expected. Some changes were and will still be incredibly difficult. Some were long overdue. But every one of them led me back to the one thing that has always made me feel most like myself... telling stories through photographs.

Photography doesn't feel heavy anymore.
It feels exciting again.
It feels creative.
It feels like coming home.

Coming home also means being honest about what didn't work before. I know there were seasons when I tried to carry everything by myself. I wore every hat, convinced myself asking for help meant I wasn't capable, and in doing so, I let some of the people who trusted me wait far longer for their memories than they should have. That lack of acceptable follow through has weighed on me for a long time.

This new chapter isn't just about a new name or a fresh start. It's about building a better business. One that allows me to do what I love while surrounding myself with the right people and systems to serve my clients the way they deserve. I've learned that asking for help isn't a weakness. It's how you protect both your passion and the promises you make.

As I get ready to celebrate my 45th birthday this month, I realized there's no better time to begin a new chapter.

Not because everything is perfect.
Because I'm not waiting for perfect anymore.

Something new is coming.
It will look a little different.
It will feel more intentional.
More authentic.
More me.

Thank you to every person who has encouraged me, waited patiently, checked in on me, and never stopped believing in me, even when I wasn't sure I believed in myself. I'm not coming back to the photographer I used to be. I'm coming back to the photographer I always wanted to become.

I'll see you July 25.
