📸 LIFE UPDATE
After months and months and months of reflection, I’ve decided to take a break from Crystal Kelly Photography for the foreseeable future. I’m trading busy weekends behind the camera for slow weekends with my son and daughter. I want to give myself room to breathe, reset, and let creativity find its way back to me - without the pressure of balancing it with the business.
This isn’t a forever goodbye, though. When I’m ready to start taking clients again, you'll be the first to know! I’ll share updates here along with what I’ll be focusing on (I'm leaning towards a certain specialty). Until then, this social media space may still see glimpses from my personal portfolio, because while I’m stepping back from the business, I’ll never stop loving photography.
Please note: If you have a gift certificate for a session with me, it is STILL valid (email me and I'll get you setup). If you’re waiting on digitals or prints, I’m still working on them! Please don’t be shy—reach out at [email protected] to check the status. (In fact, I encourage you to!) And if you’re in need of a photographer, I’m happy to recommend some amazing folks who cover all kinds of sessions.
To all my beautiful clients: Thank you for everything!!! Incredible memories, laughter, so many amazing sunsets, gorgeous locations, fun milestones, surprise captures, tears of sadness, and tears of joy. Because of you, I left sessions smiling ear to ear, saying, "I can't believe I get paid to do this!." Because of you, I was a part of so many intimate moments that showed me the true beauty in this universe was right in front of my lens. Because of you, I was able to be home with my kids every summer and until they were in school and I am forever grateful to you for gifting me that. Thank you for your support, patience, and for cheering me on through this new season of discovery. Here’s to rest, inspiration, and eventually finding my way back with fresh eyes, and a full heart.
