We will celebrate Patricia at the Power of PurseHerVerence Survivor Celebration Luncheon, where we will gather to honor remarkable individuals who have shown incredible strength and resilience in their journeys. This event promises to be an inspiring and uplifting experience, filled with empowering stories of triumph over adversity.

Patricia is a lifelong resident of Palmview, Texas. She is a devoted daughter, sister and mother of three children: two boys and one girl. She has over eight years' experience as a clerk to an Assistant Principal and Counselor. Patricia is passionate about empowering women and promoting healing as she is a four-year survivor of domestic violence. Patricia finds her greatest joy and strength in her family (her children), her faith and friendships. She is an advocate for Angels of Love and is excited to serve as a voice and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

The Power of PurseHerVerence Survivor Celebration Luncheon will recognize and celebrate 4 survivors who are former victims of domestic violence and who are now thriving in their community. The Survivor Celebration Luncheon serves as a platform for those individuals who are former victims of domestic violence and who are now thriving in their community to share their stories to encourage others to take the first step towards a new path and to raise awareness to the issue of domestic violence so that the stigma and shame is removed.

The “Power of PurseHerVerence” Survivor Celebration Luncheon is a signature event presented by Angels of Love to celebrate and empower all women including survivors of Domestic violence.

Along with motivational testimonies from our survivor honorees, we have a Purse Extravaganza with luxury and fashion purses on a silent auction, raffles, and so much fun.

Angels of Love is a non-profit organization which provides free services to victims of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking across Hidalgo County.

Angels of Love’s vision is to extend itself throughout the Rio Grande Valley with not only providing advocacy, legal advocacy, financial literacy, empowerment classes, teen dating violence Expect Respect Program, legal services, parenting classes, counseling, emotional wellness programs and youth programs but also to open an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence.
