Hold them while you can!

I feel like this is becoming a theme for me. And yelling for all to hear.! It’s something I’m always telling my clients and it’s something I want to make sure I capture when I have you in front of my camera.

Because well, my oldest will be a sophomore in high school this year and my youngest is now taller than me! It feels like forever since I’ve been able to pick them up and get those eskimo kisses and snuggles.

So now, it seems more than ever, when I see families with their littles I want to make sure I’m capturing all the cuddles and piggy back rides that I can. The time fuh-lies by.

Gorgeous mama with her gorgeous kiddos! Not gonna lie, I’m a little biased. This beautiful mama is one of my bestest friends, and her sweet kids went to preschool with my mine! It’s wild to think how fast the years have gone.

Time is such a strange, beautiful thing. Grateful I get to freeze just a little bit of it.

One of my favorite moments on preschool picture day? Capturing teachers with their own little ones!
If a teacher has a child enrolled at the school, I always invite them to step in for a quick photo—no extra charge, just a heartfelt thank-you for all they do.

Because these years? They fly by. One moment they’re in the toddler room, and the next, they’re off to kindergarten. But for this little window of time, a teacher gets to experience school not just as an educator, but as a parent, too. And that’s something worth remembering. 💛
